Well I certainly didn't buy these without looking at my IEMs to see if they would work before I spent $70 on something that I really don't need, thats for sure! they certainly fit my IEMs, they fit them like a gem in a crown. made for them. sounds beautifully. Really, they plug in and I absolutely have 2 pin IEM's and not some single pin nonsense, making me some lunatic who just blindly buys things on massdrop going "that probably fits the thing I have and don't need to check". Because that would be stupid. Amazingly stupid. Like $70 worth of stupid. I'm totally glad I'm not that guy...because I'm not that guy. I swear. 0_0

Solid piece of kit that shares the same solid build quality of the MEE MMCX balanced set (slightly different colors and branding). I very much prefer this cable over the stock MD+ cable as it just feels more premium and the dark grey/charcoal goes well with the color of their shell. The connectors all work well. I use the 3.5mm TRRS with my iFi nano BL, 2.5mm > 4-pin XLR adapter through my THX 789, and the SE 3.5mm with everything else. Not a single audio issue has been experienced with any source I have used. This kit is worth it alone for the connectors alone and you also get a nice braided balanced 2-pin cable.

jaydunndidditHey Jay, if I run this cable with the 4-pin balanced adapter on my LCX will I still be getting balanced sound?

First, the good... The cable is a no-frills, no-nonsense design. It doesn’t scream BLING, which I like. The cable is well behaved - doesn’t tangle, doesn’t lose its shape. While I am not a fan of memory wire at the ears, this was the least uncomfortable implementation I have run across. I love the collection of adapters. Makes this a very useful and flexible purchase. Speaking of adapters, now for what I don’t like and take a star away for... The fit of the SE 3.5mm adapter is very poor, and since the 3.5mm single ended jack is the most common on portable gear that is a big ding against an otherwise stellar and practical accessory. At least with my LG v30 the 3.5mm SE adapter is loose, which means if the connector to the phone is jostled or even slightly turned the audio can break up or be lost. Quite annoying. I thought the issue was an isolated one so I requested a replacement from MD. The new one they sent has the very same problem. Not sure what other phones or DAPs would be affected. Just putting it out there as a heads up. I can add that I also have the MMCX version of this MEE cable and adapter set. If I substitute the 3.5mm SE adapter from the MMCX cable set, I do not have this issue - adapter fits well and no audio problems if I move around the adapter. Putting that fact together with the fact I have had this problem with the adapter in 2 different sets of the 2-pin version cof the set tells me that the version of the adapter that comes with the 2-pin set is designed/machined incorrectly. Not cool. If you read this far down, let me give those of you who have a loose connection to the IEM itself (I have experienced this with my MD Plus...) a tip... If you have the loose cable to IEM connection problem, there is a simple fix, by applying a small piece of electrical tape... At the cable's connection, right above the pins, there is the fat/flat part that is supposed to sit flush in the earpiece. Apply a small piece of tape to the side that does not have the raised groove (one side is flat, one side has a groove). You should now have a very tight fit, and since the tape will be inside of the assembled IEM/connector, it is also invisible. Since I have read that this problem exists with the MD Plus stock cable as well I assume the issue is with the IEM and not the cable. I only have one IEM that uses the 2 pin connection (everything else uses MMCX) so I cannot verify.

jsmiller58I've had to do the electrical tape mod on every cable I bought for my MD+. Worth it for me because they're far and away my favourite IEM but I can see how that would piss some people off after dropping $300 on them. On my V20 I've not experienced the same loose connection on the single-ended adapter, far from it. The plug just snaps in there and stays put. Same with my IEMatch. Not blaming your phone specifically though, it would be helpful to hear if other V30 users report the same loose connection :)

Bought for the adapters, which work great for zx300 and mojo. Cable sounds like average SPC, but good enough for the price. Let me know if you want the 3.5mm balanced adapter. I don't need it.

Absolutely Horrible
Not that the Product is bad..... Thats an understatement.... I purchased these for my nuforce iem3 to use on stage for my wireless rig and the IEMS are perfect.... The cable is supposed to be and advertised as compatible..... Well maybe they are but the iem3 has a cylindrical connection to the earbud this cable is rectangular.... Leaving all of the connection exposed.... So Needless tk say I played one show and 20 minutes into a 90 minute set, the connection was drenched with sweat.... And Cut out..... Leaving the 70 bux cable useless..... I put the shure se856 in and finished the set..... These are cheaply made and Not compatible... And CS has been no help...... Do not waste your money

Connected the MEE audio cable to Noble IEM no sound was coming from the right side. Checked all the connections for snugness and removed the MEE cable 2x and replaced it with my own cable, the sound is okay with my cable, but no sound consistently from R side from the MEE cable. I need help from customer service how to proceed with the return. Thanks!

A positive SQ difference for $69.99 on the Noble K10, definitely a worthy investment if you have a balanced, portable DAP.

The sound is great (way better than the stock EDC3 cable) but the construction of the adapters is chunky and brittle. I used them on stage for the first time this morning and the adapter got caught on a corner and easily snapped the 2.5mm plug. if you get these, be very careful with that connector or replace it with your own. The rest of the cable is fantastic.

Using it with the Massdrop Plus and my Sony ZX2300. Very happy with this set. It should've been included with the Massdrop Plus (would've been happy to pay a bit more $). Can't say if the cable changes the sound-signature of the MD+, since I am now using the 4.4mm Balanced adaptor on my ZX300, and that in itself gives my whole setup quite a boost in SQ, especially in dynamics.
