JusteI just tried these against some Shure SE215s and 1More Triples, and I think the P1s are the better deal for 115. (Not an audiophile fyi) They seemed to have much better soundstage/clarity, I felt like I could pick up on spatial cues and differentiate the instruments more readily than with the two others.
Audio Quality: SE215 < 1More Triples < P1
Comfort: 1More Triples < SE215 < P1
JusteFor this price, the drop is a great deal. i use both fairly often. they are both pretty good.... specifically if you are asking about the P1 because you don't wanna wait. The 79vs199 price is probaby the largest factor here, Then the comfort, then durability and replaceable cables, then sound (the p1 is "better" in sound, but you also are paying 200% more)...
comfort of p1 is my favorite thing about them.
Cables are huge for me, I've messed up one cable while I was skating or something, bought a new one. Got a kitten, chewed my cable, bought a new one. So pretty much as long as you don't heel stomp these youre good to go.
sound- like I said, I prefer the P1. but that's 79 vs 200 so it's not surprising.
IN SHORT:. This drop is a damn good deal. But the 1more isn't a bad choice. for me the removable cable and over ear comfort is totally worth it in the long run.
