I received my keyboard (I love it!) and would like to start modifying the firmware. I figure the first step is making a backup of what is working in case I mess something up, and I read that the microcontroller memory is read protected. Is there somewhere I can get the stock firmware image for this purpose? Thanks for the help!

NigelBlanYou can download the original firmware here: https://qmk.fm/keyboards/ (listed under "massdrop/ctrl"). You can also do a fresh compile/download of our default keymap from our configurator: https://www.massdrop.com/mechanical-keyboards/configurator/preset/ctrl--default . The configurator's version does have a few functional and non-functional changes that were added after the production firmware was created, such as the soft boot (Fn + B) key.

jxliuThank you very much! It looks like I'll be using the configurator to get the newest official firmware for the board.
