“Best-Sounding In-Ear Headphones” With a Custom Fit

With the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 custom in-ear monitors, we’re bringing back Noble’s previous flagship—lauded by Forbes, The Verge, and InnerFidelity, and long rated Head-Fi users’ favorite IEM—for a more accessible price. Also known as the K10, this model uses the same tuning as the Noble Kaiser 10, with 10 Knowles balanced-armature drivers per ear. Each pair is assembled and matched by hand, and the precision-machined faceplate and shell can be customized with your choice of artwork or swirl designs. This CIEM is sensitive enough for use with smartphones, as well as portable digital audio players and amps.

Note: This drop qualifies for a $150 instant rebate for a final price of $1,249.99. At checkout, choose from nine different combinations for the faceplate and shell. For an additional $40, you can add a 50-inch lightning cable or a 2.5mm TRRS balanced cable. This drop will close at 140 units sold.

Ordering Your Custom IEMs

Because these are custom IEMs, you'll be responsible for having ear impressions made with an audiologist and sending them to Noble Audio in Santa Barbara (address will be provided). Noble must receive tracking info on the impressions within 6 weeks of the drop completing, or your order will be canceled and refunded—no exceptions or extensions.

Praise for the Noble Kaiser 10

  • “These are the best-sounding in-ear headphones I’ve ever heard. They’re the sort of headphones that make you want to listen to every piece of music you can find, just because you’ve never heard any of it sound so good before.” – Simon Osborne-Walker, Trusted Reviews
  • “Noble Audio has crafted one of the best examples of what expensive technology should be. It is exclusive and luxurious, but it's also authentic. The Kaiser 10s have the superior sound and sumptuous good looks to justify their price.” – Vlad Savov, The Verge
  • “I’ve listened to tens of hours of music on these headphones now. I’ve listened to pop, classical, rock, electronic and everything I could find that was recorded with some care and love. The result, almost across the board is, honestly, the best sound I’ve ever heard.” – Ian Morris, Forbes
  • “The Kaiser 10U is uber-transparent: From the deepest bass to the highest treble, the sound remains true. Even compared with my very best in-ear headphones, the Kaiser 10U sounds more accurate and pristine. Bass notes never cloud over or blur together, no matter how deep.” – Steve Guttenberg, CNET
  • “Of all my in-ear monitors—scratch that, of all my headphones in general—the Kaiser 10 is the one I find myself reaching for most often these days; for portable use but also for dedicated listening at home.” – John Grandberg, InnerFidelity

This was your original email: I ordered a this product and paid for it in March 2018!!! The impressions were sent in May 2018, and were received by one Gerry Quick. In September 2 days before delivery due date I was informed that Noble did not receive the impressions!!!! After much heartache, I sent another set of impressions. Now UPS has informed me that they have a delivery of earphones for me from CHENGDU EARPHONE EQUIPMENT company in China!! You guys have no shame? I will NOT accept delivery of a Chinese product after ALMOST A YEAR. when I paid for a product manufactured in the USA. Wait for the social media shitstorm that follows. And this was my response: You are obviously unaware of the company’s history. It is no secret that John Moulton, the founder of Noble worked in Chengdu for a number of years and founded Heir Audio in China. He had a falling out with his business partner, left Heir Audio and formed Noble. The employees he personally trained for years remained with Noble, rather than stay with Heir Audio. Noble, being a US company is unable to own or operate a company in China, without a Chinese citizen owning a majority share. Accordingly, the lab is a third party entity. They have always produced Noble custom headphones and are frankly the best in the world at what they do. You can google this information as it is all available on the internet, and is no secret. Your headphones are being shipped directly from the lab as it is more cost effective and quicker to send them to customers outside the US directly to the customers, rather than sending them to the US headquarters first.  I'm sorry if you feel that I was "haughty" in my response, as that was not my intent. I'm unclear as to what I needed to apologize for, as our history is nothing to be ashamed of, nor is it any sort of secret. I only meant to explain the history and why the headphones were being shipped from Chengdu. I wish you only the best. Jim
