Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

First overall impression is very nice, simple but elegant packaging, the pair is nicely rolled inside the carrying case. The shell is so pretty and everything seems well-built with no gaps or loose pieces. Installation of ear tips is very easy and I'm trying the Noble foam tips L right now. Though I'm sure I'll be back to using Comply foam soon as they are softer and provide better seal imo. Removing the cable is a pain in the butt though. With bare hands, they are very difficult to remove from the shell and I had to use a tower to add more grip to my pull. Hopefully later on it will be easier to remove the cable as some has said already.
The shell fits in my ear very well despite the shape being quite bulky. Though I came from the UE TF10 which has horrible fit anyways, always sticking out of my ears like sore thumbs lol. Now comes the sound. To preface I'm just your average Joe who just happens to love IEMs and use it exclusively for music. I like how the Noble X sounds, very detailed & balanced and versatile with different genres and tracks. I used to love the big & fun sound of the TF10 but I guess I grew too old for it and the composition of the songs in my iPod is evidence of that. I don't believe in burn-in but if after 80-100 hours something changes I'll update this post.
To sum up, I'm a happy Massdropper with this purchase. Hopefully this will get re-runs and more people can enjoy these as they are punching above their class being priced at just $250. And here is some potato pics for your enjoyment!
