Hello everyone. Hopefully by now everyone has their IEMs at hand. some of you may have seen my unboxing & first impression video of the Noble x. Now that I've listened to it for a while, I made a review of them on youtube, headfi, and soulsikreviews.com. Just wanted to share some thought, let me know of your opinions and preferred tips as well !

SOULSIKThat isn't a straw on the cable, that is a silicone tubing neck tensioner commonly used on ciem cables. Noble began as a ciem company and they use the same cable found on their $3000 Prestige ciems. The. Cable is spc. tinsel wire with a pull strength of 150lbs, a video attesting to that was posted on headfi. The cable may be tight or firm on the socket but that is certainly better than loose. . Stress relief on tensile cable isn't that critical due to the nature of the wire, whereas litz wire it is more critical as litz it is less durable

SOULSIKOMG Strawgate!! Check out the other offerings from Noble Audio, JH Audio, or other high end IEM or CIEM brands and guess what you will find ;-) Most of these high-end manufacturers use this setup with the sleeve to add memory wire for secure fit to good cables. And for the connectors, I am with @TheDoc - better tight then loose. It will loosen up with frequent changing - so if you start with it being loose you won't get secure fits later on.
