Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

Qll massdrop sales are timed special sales this is just another but the sale is for black Friday. Massdrop wouldn't sell it at full price.
P.S. The Vortex Pok3r keyboard is also listed as Black Friday sale, but they sold this keyboard for the exact price last time also....
To be honest, MSRP isn't considered as a valuable information. Some products has been out for years and the MSRP is still the same when there has been newer or better version of the same product for the same MSRP. Which one would you buy? The one that's an older version or the newer version that has been modified to better than the last generation with the same MSRP as the old version?
The Savant for example? Was that a success, what is the value of it today? There certainly wasn't a lot of Wizard Savants made, less than a 100 I would guess.
Leap of faith, at this point is all you got, but then again buying essentially any audio gear on line is a leap of faith, as this is all subjective.
Notice, my question is framed more about practicality, not about stellar sound quality, as if I were looking for stellar sound quality, I'd expect to pay North of 1K.
would it make you happy if they listed "SPECIAL BLACK FRIDAY PRICE, $250! (regular sale price, $300!) (SAVE AN EXTRA $50 OFF MASSDROPS ALREADY HUGE $200 DISCOUNT OFF THE $500 MSRP!!
the majority of "Black Friday" deals aren't any better than regular sales being offered throughout the year anyways.
