Can these be worn from the bottom? (As opposed to the way shown in the pictures) If so, which way is more comfortable?
Thanks.

Oneyedrunkyes they can but it will fall quite easily, unless you use the left unit for the right ear and vice versa then switch the cables. same level of comfort for me. This is how it looks like https://massdrop-s3.imgix.net/img_comment/vrBLm6kaTjC5HnTri8BD_IMG_20171013_132658_01.jpg?auto=format&fm=jpg&fit=min&h=425&dpr=2

OnslashThanks. So wearing them over the ear is completely comfortable and doesn't irritate you?

OneyedrunkIt doesn't but it makes it protrude more therefore wearing it cable down while like sleeping on a pillow hurts.

OneyedrunkDepends on what sound signature you like tbh. My main audio setup is a beyerdynamic t90 which are v shaped and considered pretty bright, however for earphones i prefer something darker and easier to listen to. I previously used beyerdynamic dx 120 ie, bass on those is much better than this . However this sounds much more balanced and replacable cable is a nice addition. The bass on some songs seems to be generally punchy but some songs it makes it sound like it lacks a bit of quantity. The bass don't decay quickly, it also lacks very low frequency bass. I guess a limitation of 6mm microdrivers

OnslashI'm quite a newbie in the audio field but at home I use the Aune T1 (mk2 i think) with sony MA900. Also have ATH-AD700 from Audio Technica which I also love.. and Shure SRH-840 but they clamp too hard so they're just sitting there. So.. I don't know what sound signature I'm after but I read that the ma900 and the ath-ad700 are considered balanced and of course they're open so they have a nice sound-stage. I suppose something balanced is good for me and I'm not looking for more bass than normal.
Thanks again for helping :)

OneyedrunkOh and forgot to say that outside I have a shitty phone but waiting for the V30 to come out in my country and then I'll get it, supposedly the onboard DAC is decent at least.

OneyedrunkThese would greatly benefit the v30's some weaker phones have problems drivings these loud . The sensitivity is quite low. I usually listen to music on my one plus 3t at about 50% volume , these edc needs about 70%

OnslashNot as much of a focus on the bass but how sharp is the sound at higher ranges along with the vocals? And is the op3 t, good enough to drive the sound?

stuey138I'd say its quite good for this price point. Highs are not piercing to hear, although in some tracks i wish the high frequency is a bit less and a touch louder vocals. The op3t drives it fine , i notice a bit of improvement on audioquest dragonfly 1.2 , particularly in soundstage . It needed about 30% to reach the same volume as one plus 3t 70%
