Just got these, they are well design. They use the classic ear wrap design of my once championed exercise ear buds, the Shure e2cs. Removable cables are great, I've had a lot of ear buds die that way, Klipsch S4s, X10s, X11is, a host of Shure ones etc. However, the soundscape isn't exactly refined, it's hyper consumerish-Beats-era punching bass, recessed mids and bright treble. They sound great for a bit but ear fatigue sets in. I like them but don't love them. They're detailed but I feel like i'm listing to percussion lines over the lyrics. It's not the refined rich bass of of the X10/X11s (also notably much more expensive).
Ah well, they'll suffice for now. I just wish Klispch, Shure or Sennheiser would learn from the wonderful design of these earbuds.
