Just got mine today--so bad I couldn't even finish the first tune I cued up! Horrid, wretched, fiddly, little things that sound like dixie cups connected by kite string. Nay--make that tin thimbles connected by twist-tie wires! The high-pitched whine of a mosquito flying into your ear canal is beautiful music compared to the wicked screech these things make!
The were so horrendous sounding, I immediately gave them to my girlfriend/worst nightmare, (where phone accessories of every stripe go to die, and who actually has the tin-ear these abominations were created for). She will use them exclusively for phone conversions over the next week and then promptly lose, or destroy them (as she has done with every other phone accessory I've given her over the years), and when she says: "I have no idea what happened to them?" (she is to expensive head sets in general, as a garbage disposer is to Brussel sprouts) I will only smile, knowing they will have suffered greatly under her short and abusive watch. "Good riddance" I will mutter under my breath!
RayFThis was a pretty straightforward comment but in all its honesty quite entertaining and sad at the same time. I am crying and laughing...
I am not sure if your pair had something wrong or whether the fit was not good enough to provide proper audio or what. Considering that you put all the effort on writing the comment and the fact that I feel bad for your girlfriend if she loses the earphones, I would like to offer sending you a replacement pair which hopefully will make you a believer and if not at least make your girlfriend happy when she gets another gift from you. Let me know if this works?
- Jyri/NuForce
JyriThat is a kind gesture, but the truth is I just might be the wrong customer for your product. Still, I'm willing to give it a second shot--perhaps with a little more patience this time--if you're willing.
As for my girlfriend; I'm all the happy she can stand...
JyriNo, nothing delivered--I thought you just forgot about me. Had they arrived, you know I would have at least re-reviewed them for you--I owed you that much!
Gotta tracking number/ship date?
RayFUPDATE TWO: second pair received and tested. Ultimately, not for me--I'm evidently just not an IEM guy. However, I've passed them on to a family member (not my girlfriend/worst nightmare, the Destroyer Of All Things), and that fellow is quite pleased with them. One thing is for sure, the customer service at NuForce is top-notch; don't hesitate to communicate with them directly with any needs/concerns.
