Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I wear glasses and these are squeezing my head hard enough that they're digging my glasses arms into my head, and it starts hurting pretty quickly.
If you wear glasses try AKG K612 Pro. I previously owned K612 and they were super comfortable even for long periods every day.
Unfortunately mine broke so I thought I'd try these PC37X but the clamping force is making me worry that they might not suite me.
I'll see how they go after a week or so.
Happy to report they've become more comfortable. Still a bit tight, but not hurting anymore.
Super happy with the sound though!
Update: A few months later... Very pleased with these. Clamping force no longer bothering me. Great headphones, would buy again
