Hi Everyone! Good news. The Massdrop x USDG 14oz Navy Selvage Denim has arrived at the warehouse, and we’re planning on sending the jeans out a bit early. They are currently undergoing quality control checks, and we expect them to ship by the end of next week.
We’re looking forward to everyone receiving the first production of the Massdrop x USDG 14oz Navy Selvage Denim!
Hey Everyone,
Thanks for your interest in this limited launch of our collaboration with United Stock Dry Goods. Over the last few years, USDG has gained a strong following in the raw denim community for their unique fabrics and flattering Narrow fit. Their fabrics are all sourced from small mills in Okayama, Japan and the jeans are constructed in Toronto,Canada. Their company principles are Honesty, Quality, and Integrity, values that align with the enthusiast community on Massdrop and at large.
Massdrop x USDG 14oz Navy - This is an overdyed denim, meaning both the warp and the weft fabrics are dyed (where traditionally the warp is dyed and the weft is left white). The warp is indigo rope dyed, and the weft is navy rope dyed. This means both fabrics will fade simultaneously, each creating its own spectrum of color (from indigo to white or navy to white). The result of these fabrics fading in concert with one another is a unique spectrum of color you’ll only see in these jeans. The quality Canadian construction and american-made YKK hardware will keep them together for years of great fades.
This drop will launch on December 13 at 6am PT with only 235 units available. Thanks again for your interest and we’ll be checking in to answer questions throughout the drop.

So, my weird guy 34s fit very comfortably. I went with 33 weird guy also which fit a lot tighter. After wearing my 33s in a bit more they fit a lot better.
These USDGs I actually got in 33 also. They fit a bit tighter then my weird guy 33s. For reference I am 6'2" roughly 205lbs.
I wear the USDGs a lot. I did some lunges and squats in them for first few days to losing them up. My best advice is go with what your actual dimensions are and use the chart. If they come obviously much smaller or larger then the chart says contact customer support. Customer support in my experience has been very reasonable with my complaints. Just measure the pants when they come in. You will get some variance with any manufacturing process.

to loosen* them up...lol
You need sizing to 42!!!
What about sizing for the BIG guys?????????? 40......... 44
I am normally a 35/36 inch waist, 30 inch inseam, what is recommended size for these? Yeah, I know there is a chart too, asking people who have bought already or just for confirmation from MD or USDG. Trying to decide on my first pair of Selvage, and torn between these or the light 10oz Nakeds. Any positive responses appreciated!!
i got the wrong size, thought a 31 would work, but it's just a little too small. I need a 32 or 33, do you have any stock that i could switch it out?
Definitely size UP by 1 or 2 sizes when ordering these jeans!!! I just received my size 30 USDG 14oz denims (thinking they would be a snug fit) and I can't even button them up. UGH! There goes $100 that could've been better spent on another Spyderco or flashlight. lol (For context I'm 5'7", 135 lbs: I have three pairs of weirdguys's in size 30; a slimguy in 30; a snug-fitting skinnyguy in 31 and a loose-fitting skinnyguy in 32). I really wanted a 31 or 32 but they were all sold out when I joined this drop; I should've pulled a 'Kenny Rogers' and walked away.

For thinner jeans I just roll them up a few times but for thicker jeans I'll take them to a trusted tailor and get them hemmed.

I had the same problem. I had to upsize my normal waist by 2. and then it was a TAD loose, but the original I couldn't even get the button on.
Wish there was a request button for different sizes, so many options are greyed out. I would join the drop but I need a 31.
Would love a pair of these if they had “31“ available... I usually have wear a size 32 or 33 waist and i feel like the “30“ would be way too tight from what the comments are saying.... also I’m 5ft11 and weigh 170 more of a lean/slender build so idk how well these would fit me.... 32 is my normal length for jeans

I am interested in the 31!

If you're looking to buy a 31 I'm looking to sell my pair. They were never worn or washed as I couldn't even put them on. HMU if you're interested.
Got these in 33, fit a bit snug, but they ended up being way too long for me and the cuff seems really wide. I thought these would have a bit more tapered fit. I'm 5'7" so maybe I'm just too short to fit them right. Will try to get them hemmed.

Yeah, the pant leg becomes really wide as the size goes up. Even if I get them hemmed they're like parachutes now. Not sure what to do hmm..

I' m 5'6 and I wear a 30 inch inseam :|
Will like the look of the Navy Selvage a lot, but its 35 inch inseam gives me pause. My usual inseam length is 30-31 inches, would 35 inch inseam be too long for me to cuff the jeans?
I've been wearing these on the regular and really like the color as well as the fit. I normally wear size 32 in most pants, but decided to size up to 33 (I'm 6ft and 170lbs). When I first got the jeans they were still pretty snug, but after a few days of wear they fit really well.
