Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). What's the best (good looking) way to use those R3 "F", "2", "2" keycaps in Novelties kit?
The novelties keys, they are usually some independent keys with uniq logo/characters or so, even though they may have similar symbols or colors. But "F", "2", "2" are 3 keycaps of the same R3 profile, If they are installed in the base area, like
"A" "S" "D" "F" "2" "2" "J" ...
The dark color of "F" and the light color of "J" doesn't match. Any info or what's your idea on this, @York.C ?
The Print, Scroll Lock, Pause.
But we'll see how badly the profile matches, otherwise I won't use them :P
