Done in a tastefully decorative style, these liner lock folders from Seki City, Japan–based Mcusta will make a handy blade in a pinch, and a great gift. Measuring 6.5 inches long, they feature a 2.9-inch blade made from 33-layered nickel damascus with a VG-10 core Read More
I really love the look of these knives but why are the blades all covered in text? I’m not bothered by a little bit but this just looks huge to me on such an elegant blade. Kind of a deal breaker for me
About 10 years ago I wrote a letter to Mcusta's HQ and told them if their knives had tip up pocket clips, I would have about 10 of them. Still waiting, although I do have 2 tactilities in damascus that I truly love!
These all look pretty sweet. I no longer buy tiny knives....I love Mcusta's....but want them 3.5 inches or longer blades so their handles are lengthened to match. I really like the first 3 in the picture (left to right).
I bought the kasumi ten years ago. The product is really well finished and easily sharpened. the cover is original and also well made. He is one of the knives that I regularly take with me.
I have owned the Kasumi for several years, still looks great and I have yet to find the need to sharpen the blade. Though I only use it for business conferences and suit carry.
alleycatThe business conferences where the goody box/bag are sealed and everyone juggles keys and random objects around until someone finally pops the question "does anyone sensible carry a knife?" ... and I'm not handing over my nice knives so I give them a Spyderco bug on a keychain.
