Versatile and Useful
I love these. The 2-pin connectivity allows for them to be extremely versatile, and you can use your favorite iems with much more mobility and freedom. The battery life is long enough to not be annoying (I used them on a flight from Frankfurt to New York and they held up nicely). The Bluetooth doesn't seem laggy, I can walk all over my apartment and even go upstairs and it doesn't flinch. The controls on the side are a nice touch. Honestly, I have no regrets whatsoever over this purchase.
Why only 4 stars then? Well the cable is high memory so that's just personally annoying to me bc I find I kind of have to twist and adjust it a lot to get it out of the way. But that's just mildly annoying. Also, when I use them on my NuForce EDC3s, the connection isn't 100% flush, and while it works with no problems whatsoever, it just isn't aesthetically appealing. Again, an inconsequential nitpick.
Would I buy these again? You bet. They're a great way to upgrade your favorite 2-pin iems, or even just make them more workout friendly or to add a mic so you can use them for phone calls.

The output impedance from the source components built into the cable are far too high for use with anything sesitive, resulting in a ton of hissing and poor sound quality overall. Bought to use with my MD+ IEMs but it was a really bad combo. Tried using it with my KZ ZSTs but the connectors are really meant for recessed 2 pin sockets, not surface level 2 pin like on the KZs and they will fall off with light movement. This also means this isn't a good pairing for the Massdrop x Nuforce EDC series, as they too have their 2 pin socket positioned in a way that the cable will only remain attached due to friction of the pins while they're in the socket and they can be easily tilted out from any pressure near the base of the pins.
There might be some good pairings out there for this cable, but it would need to have a decent impedance to be a match for the cable's output impedance (without any firm numbers to do the conversion based on, I could only estimate 24 ohms or greater to be a good match) and a recessed 2-pin socket so that any pressure near the connection doesn't tip them out of place.

Cattycake1988Completely agree. Bought these specifically for use with the MD+, as it was explicitly listed as one of the intended pairings. Very disappointed with the amount of hissing I hear.

Cattycake1988Totally agree. Looking is not great but that is okay. But hissing is beyond tolerance with MD+ if listening music. I can only use it for watching movie on my Mate 20 pro. The connection is quite nice though.

Cable constantly detaches
Bought these to use with my EDC3's. The cable constantly detaches from one or the other of the earbuds during normal use. Even while sitting still. Trying to walk or run? Forget it.

Having similar issues with brief interruptions where the sound ceases. Could be described as flaky bluetooth, could be an issue within the actual unit themselves seeing as my devices behave as if nothing weird has happened.
Sound is fine for a pair of bluetooth headphones you'd take on the train with you. Money could be better spent elsewhere at this point however.
Battery life isn't exceptional but it'll get you through at least two days commuting pretty easy.

Really disappointed in this product. Most importantly, the signal constantly drops out, which is annoying (I realize this is 50/50 my phone signal), and the sound is definitely inferior to the cables (and Bluetooth cables) it replaced. Less importantly, I also find the fit awkward. I’ve actually returned to using my Bose for Bluetooth, sacrificing sound for lack of interruption.

Not a fan. Build quality is fine but I cant get a proper seal. If i push my IEMs too far in my ear canal, the pins disconnect. I want a refund. Plus the random disconnects from my LG V20... annoying.

It shouldn't list Massdrop Plus as a compatible unit. Way too much hiss. Might be great for other iems listed.

Been trying to use these for a week but it is unusable. The longest time this cable kept a connection with my Galaxy S8 was about 15 mins, usually it disconnects after 1 minute. I tried clearing the memory on the cable and ensuring it was full charge before using it but it still disconnects constantly. I am extremely disappointed in this product and would not recommend anyone to buy it.
