Someone tried to make it look like I got something more expensive than I did.
Lucky to have gotten the M6 Pro. They sound awesome, although only complaint is that the right earphone has some issues with its cable connection. If the cable moves a certain way, I lose sound. I've tried with both cables (with and without mic) and I encounter the same thing. Is there a way to get this replaced? These earphones sound so good that it's a shame the right earphone is kinda busted.
I was pumped to see that I got the M6 Pros! I was really impressed how much came in the box and how nice the comply eartips feel because they really block out the world and feel like there's nothing in my ear. The actual sound quality is amazing and im so excited i got my money's worth many times over.
I just received mine. My expectations were set pretty low, given the price, the fact that it's a "blue box" with semi randomized results, and the reviews. My goal was to replace the earbuds I got for free on my last airplane flight with a pair of earbuds that were not painful to wear, and this fit the bill. $14 got me the M6 "Sports" in clear. The fit is quite comfortable, a big step up from the pain those airline earbuds cause, and I haven't even tried out any of the alternate tips to see if any fit better. The sound so far is fine, I'm no audiophile so if they are missing something, I don't notice it. I am a little confused that the receipt in the package says that the total was 49.99, when that is neither the price of the drop or the MSRP of the item.
Ok, I'm never doing a blue box drop again. I got the M6 and then discovered I could get them cheaper on Amazon. The "value" on Massdrop was deceptive. I haven't heard such bad headphones in years. To be fair, I haven't bought anything this cheap in years, either. I guess if you got them for $13 on Amazon with Prime shipping they might not be a terrible value. (But $15 from Massdrop is a terrible value.) But if you only have $13 to spend on headphones, save up a little more and spend $40 on the Zero Audio Carbo Tenore-they're 10x better. But for sh*ts and gigles, here's a review of the sound: Highs barely exist-it sounds like you're listening through a pillows The mids are ok if you don't mind the top end of the mids having absconded along with the highs. Hint: you will mind. Bass: This is the only part of the sound that was excluded from the party when the highs and part of the mids fled this steaming dungpile. So fortunately, the bass isn't missing. It's pretty depressed from being excluded from said party, which sounds like poor clarity. The bass isn't more muddy than I'd expect at this price point, though. Pros? The only pro for the M6 is that they are molded in the faux-custom IEM style. You might be able to wear them to sleep, underneath helmets, etc. because they hide inside your ear so well. If you like this style, this is a pro.
Forget About It! Just got my tracking#
What am I missing..says ship date is 11/19/18 ...are these from a previous drop?
I was lucky enough to get the M220 Blue's in the latest drop (Got them in the mail today 11/5/2018). Definitely got my money's worth I suppose, but I purchased two Blue Boxes and I only got the one set of M220's and there's no other tracking for another package. I contacted support, and I'm hoping to receive my second set of headphones soon without issue. As for the M220s they're really really good for acoustic music and vocals, but are very lacking in bass (Which they're not made for, so that's completely understandable). Overall they're pretty good and sound extremely clear when I'm listening to my sea shanties lol. I do like a fair amount of rap music and it's still definitely a good listening experience, as I prefer vocals to bass. But, the real place these headphones shine is vocals and sound stage. I'm no audiophile, but I am really enjoying these after using them for the past two hours on spotify with their "high quality streaming" it's no FLAC, but these are also $50 headphones. All in all, I like them.
The M220 must be real unpopular in blue.
The unlocks for the third time have still not changed from the 600 unlock. I highly doubt Massdrop is handing out these prizes each time.........
I got the m6 regular but the receipt says I got the $50 ones so what's the difference

The easiest way to tell if your headphones are the M6 (sometimes called sport) or M6 Pro is that the latter has a detachable cable. Also, the former sounds pretty crappy. I realized after I received my M6 that I could have bought it cheaper on Amazon. :(
Yay! I got lucky and got the M6 Pros. Just arrived today and haven't had a chance to open them yet. I'm looking forward to trying them out. I'm hoping the Pros are nicer than people are finding the regular M6s.
I usually don't win out on these sorts of things so I'm happy that it was my turn this time.

IMO the M6 Pros are a great value at the $50 list price, so you definitely won.
Just got my M6's. Decent, obviously nothing too crazy but hey.. They work and stay surprisingly well in my ear.
I got the cheapest one they had. I did not open it and sold it on Ebay. The buyer said the left side didn't even work lol. I had to refund him and of course refunded the shipping cost. Man what a great deal!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
Total Rip Off!! I did not open mine and finally sold them on ebay. The buyer just sent me a message that the left driver does not work right. The volume is very low. So not only did I get ripped off once by Massdrop and now I have to pay for them again. Not Good!! In fact pretty shitty.
Bob3600
That is the risk in drop-shipping.
Got my M6 Pros today :)
So how many have actually sold in this drop? It is pretty shady if Massdrop is doing the thing where they post the total sold because in a blue box drop the actual number on this particular drop really matters as to what the odds are and products which are included to win. Not cool MD, Not cool...

That's messed up and Massdrop should really clarify what is going on with these.

Yup the unlocked "total" still did not change. I will be keeping a close eye on if a next drop comes.... if the same result, its time to get answers from massdrop
Just gor the M6, and man I can’t even tell you how garbage these are. These are gas station headphones at best. My god....treat MEE like the raffle it is for the real headphones.

Just got another pair of m6’s. Why do we do this to ourselves?
Holy christmas are these absolute hot garbage. I got the black over the ears. I put them in, listened to 10 seconds of a song and took them out. Only reason I bought them was to get in the drawing, and it wasn't worth it one bit. Waste of cash.
If anyone gets a Massdrop prize please let me know. I personally believe that they are not real and are just a scam to get people to join. I have never seen anyone post that they got one on any blue box drop.

Yeah, I got a prize on a Thinksound blue box, the AKG M22 in red. Not this one, but still, they were real on that offer.

I received lottery item before on a drop last year on the sennheiser grab bag.
I got the M6 and the X1, and they're not great, but they aren't horrible either. On my Samsung S8 I listened to some live concerts on Spotify at 320kbs and with the flanged ear tips it wasn't half bad. The spatial elements of the instruments and the vocals were surprisingly decent. Sound fatigue crept up pretty quickly, so that's a downside. On the flip side, distortion was pretty low on more bass heavy tracks, which is nice.
To be fair, I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of these, and my expectations were essentially met for the price. They're certainly not going to replace my in-ear AKG's. But would I put them in my pocket or take them with me when I go on trips or running? Yeah, I think I would.
Got mine today and ended up with a pair of X1s. They for sure will be going into the wire bin of no return unless I am desperate. They fatigued my ear sound wise within 5 minutes!!! However, they were decently comfortable on initial try. $20 Sony earbuds are at least 50% better sound quality than these but for the roll on $13 on the drop to either see a M6 Pro or a Prize or Crap (looking at you M6 and X1) was worth the chance.
So we dont know what we bought until it arrives correct?

So, the code has been cracked! Lucky, you. Enjoy your new cans!
Same for me, from NJ, got the AKG's in blue. Although I ordered two blue boxes and only got one pair of headphones, so I'm waiting on the second one with no tracking number, messaged support though.

I got that too.

Be thankful, guys! I got the regular (also called "sport") M6 and they are garbage.
I did the last mystery box and got the M6 in Black. They were missing one of the rubber ear pieces out of the box, so Massdrop gave me a $5 credit. The headphones are terrible, on par with convention swag headphones. If anybody wants them you can have them.

I actually like the M6 the bass is a little on the boomy side but it's not out of control. They are very comfortable and for $14 they sound really good IMO.

I would like to try them out. I live in AZ.
I don’t understand how the mass drop headphone thing works! So you get IEMS but youre guaranteed headphones too?
NoisyBoy
I think it's like buying a raffle ticket. You pay for the ticket/IEMs and have a chance on getting one of the offers. Good Luck
Looks like Massdrop finally adjusted the pricing in the description, the M6 are now listed at $20 instead of $50.
Got M6 (sport). Looks so cheap compared to my Mi Pro HD. But volume is better and these are easier to drive with phone than Mi pro HD. But too bass heavy for serious listening. Would not say a bad purchase but it cost me almost 30 USD including duty payment to Emirates post and extra delivery so not so economical though.

wow heavy duties!
Got the M6 and the M6 Pro. What a pleasant surprise when I opened them. The M6's are more comfortable than the Pro's. The Pro's dig into my ear right near where they connect to the cable. This is my third drop for MEE and each time, I've been surprise with what I've gotten.
Save your money and start buying Chi-Fi stuff. So much better sound quality for the money.
