DRaGZCyberDrive: 98% plastic and 2% metal from the specs. Don't think this is an apples to apples comparison. I will pay extra for a known product with wood cups and more metal in the construction.

dpumpGL2 is also almost entirely plastic. From what I have read about the brand in general, I'm not sure how much I trust them.

DRaGZGL2 has real walnut wood earcups and steel gimbals. The CyberDrive has plastic cups and almost all plastic construction. As I said, construction wise you're not comparing apples to apples. Maybe the CyberDrive is good, but I would rather bet on the GL2as I prefer real wood earcups. I assume there has to be a difference in sound quality between a real wood earcup and a plastic earcup and I would hope the real wood earcup is better. Think about how many brands of phones use some form of wooden earcup on their higher end models and plastic earcups on their less expensive models.

dpumpWood's kind of a fad. A lot of the most highly regarded headphones in the world don't use wood, just plastic and metal.

DRaGZI haven't heard the CyberDrive, so I can't really comment on that. I did get a pair of Shark Bravo headphones to compare with the GL2, the Bravo is another one of the rebadges. The GL2 will fit on smaller heads compared to the Bravo. The Pads are also a little thinner (which can affect sonics). I will note however that the GL2 has a more control bass region that rarely, if ever, distorts unlike the Bravo which is quite bloated and thick and doesn't have a veil in the midrange which results in more clarity and energy. The treble is also much more refined. To be honest, the Bravo sounded like a 30 dollar headphone, and for that price, it's fine. However, the GL2 is definitely tuned differently and offers better sonic abilities across the board.
I will admit that the GL2 build isn't that great, especially for the price, the use of plastic bits is a little overwhelming. Compared to the Bravo, they're at around the same level in terms of build.
