Well, I went ahead and joined this drop. I like the MJ1 so I hope this will be an improvement. Probably gonna give the MJ1 away as a Christmas gift. Any idea on when these are shipping out?

DDTRRI find that hard to believe. The reviews that I have read on the JP1 do not reflect the sound signature that I'm hearing on my MJ1.

motodThey have a different frequency response range. I have the MJ1, so I'll compare them when I get the JP1. I just checked out the frequency response chart for both, and they are quite different. The JP1 has a much better-looking frequency response.

JoharnolalegendeavecungrandLI've read those. Nice reads. I've pretty much read everything that's on the internet about them lol. I'm a little concerned about the soundstage and the quiet electret drivers. Hopefully they'll be alright with a pad swap. I have some ZMF oval cowhide pads that I'm gonna put on them to hopefully expand the soundstage a bit. I just hope the pads don't destroy the bass.

jonRockI have brainwavz pads i hope it's fit in, yeah i've seen the dark sound on another review but here they say the trebble is excellent, I have seen that the electret driver fall at 4ohm so it's why it's quiter in this range, I thing with a good low impedance amp it will be good
