The Official Swiss Railway Clock
In 1944, Hans Hilfiker, a Swiss Engineer, designed what would go on to become the “Official Swiss Railway Clock”. Inspired by the iconic minimalist design, the Mondaine watch company gained official license from the Federal Swiss Railways, and introduced the company’s Classic collection about forty years later. The Evo Alarm Quartz watch showcases a distinct and bold design.

Design Features
The Evo Alarm’s 40 mm polished stainless steel case features an ETA 804.192 Swiss quartz movement with an alarm function, as well as Mondaine’s clean, geometric dial. The dial is characterized by thick block indices as well as a distinctive handset, which includes a bold, red second hand for an exciting burst of color. The crown at 2 o'clock functions as the on/off for the alarm function. The alarm is turned on by pulling the alarm crown out one click. In this position, the red arrow alarm hand can be set by pulling the time crown out 1 click and turning the crown until the hand is in the desired position. The alarm is turned off by pushing the alarm crown back in.
