Same price or cheaper everywhere else. Just have to google the reference models.... Common Massdrop... get it together.
somewhere else for less and don't have to wait.
300 less than last time. Really tempting at this price.
To me, this just doesn’t have the look of a premium Swiss watch.
What happened with the Minerva movements?
The picture looks to be a Sellita movement, not an ETA. It may come with an ETA and the cross references that I found says that it does. HOWEVER, lots of companies have advertised that they use ETA ebauches and they had switched to Sellita and did not change their advertising. This was a huge debacle at Tag Heuer.
It might just be a picture issue... or not.

That was the first thing I noticed.

Regardless of if it has the ETA or Sellita, the fit and finish of this watch doesn't match the price, there's nothing special about it. You can get the advertised Swatch made movement in a stainless/saphire dress watch, like the Hamilton Intramatics, for 1/3rd the price.
Photo 5/6 is interesting: "TWENTY-FIVE 26 JEWELS SWISS".
If I join the drop, can I have that one?
tguy
Is likely just the angle of the photo. What I find interesting is that the two digit number doesn't appear at all in photo 6.
First a Teutonia, then this Timealker, all in the same week? Some very nice, elegant stuff on the menu.
This is a sheep amongst wolves. 21 jewel movement, wr 30m . Times can make a better watch. $1500 for this junk? Come on! Really?

That watch has what is truly a cult like following, it's been built up way too much. I imported the limited SARY089 hoping that following would make it a solid investment, so far so good. Sadly the listings for them don't differentiate between the Japanese made limited run of 1000 vs the 3500 international run that wasn't assembled in Japan.

It certainly does have a cult like following.  And while I love the styling, it just doesn't perform as well as I'd like.  The deployment strap is not built very well either, if you bump something, even slightly, it comes undone... But for looks, I do enjoy it.  It wears well with a suit.
Really want to buy this. Wish is was 500 less. Been looking for a blue white combo. Beautiful. Maybe I'll try to track down a preowned version.
Feel like the Timewalker isn't complete w/o the UTC (GMT) functionality. That's just my opinion though.
I don't have the dough to grab this, but I've seen these in person at a local retailer (for more $$$ of course). They are actually very handsome watches. I went there to drool over Omegas and other crap, but these caught my eye as I'd never thought much about Mont Blanc. They make a beautiful line of watches for real. Hood rats won't respect it, but your boss and your wife's father will. It's that type of watch.
I could get a Steinhart Ocean One ceramic with eta 2892 for $550😂and it's 30ATM, not 3ATM😂😂

Lol. Nahhhh, I’m going to take your advice. I‘m going to go buy a swatch for $40. It keeps time, and I can swim in it. SUCKIT SEAMASTER OWNERS!!!
Anyone with experience with authentic watches.com ? Hey have the UTC version on bracelet for 75 more which seems more tempting to me

I ordered there (they have a Timewalker for $1300 if I remember) Nioce service, quick shipping. Look out for coupons too.
Any chance of getting this watch in white?
There’s many watches I’d go for on MD, but I’m constantly put off by the lack of real warranties. Surely if watchmakers stand by their watches they should honour their warranties irrespective of the vendor!

I know how it works, but surely manufacturers should offer their warranties through any vendor, MD included, unless there’s an issue with the products being offered? Strangely it’s not all manufacturers, that begs a question?

No, they don't. That is why they have an AD network. They don't have to warrant a watch that may have been through many hands and you bought for 50% off their suggested price. They will still service it for a fee.
woulda been nice with small seconds covering the date window
I have had the Timewalker GMT for almost 10 years now, it's an absolutely fantastic piece. Very sexy and ironically can almost pair with any outfit.
The date window bugs me but that's otherwise a very sexy dial.
