Wow! I wish I could afford this right now, worth every penny...I got a standard 3 hander Montblanc Timewalker and it was just stunning in every way. To get a full on chrono with a full SS bracelet for this price is a steal....very jealous of those that are ordering this

This is a real beauty, though I have to admit I don't much care for that date window.

Never owned a Montblanc but have always liked them. This one looks sweet.

I'd be tempted if it was 40mm or better yet, 39mm. A travel watch (obviously this one is supposed to be) should be discreet and inconspicuous.

For your reference, this is an ETA Valjoux 7754 ( https://www.eta.ch/en/our-products/mechanical-movements/mecaline-chronographes/eta-mecaline-chronographes-7754-valjoux ) I'm sharing with you the reference for the caliber as well as some watches having this movement https://watchbase.com/eta/caliber/7754

http://calibercorner.com/eta-caliber-7754/ It seems that indeed this is the best price you can get for this specific movement 😀 except maybe for this: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/glycine-airman-airfighter-automatic-watch/

So, had a chance to look this up a bit more. Unlike the twinfly, this isn’t an in-house movement. Modified valjoux 7753 with a GMT module. Videos I found were circa 2012, so this is a watch that has sat around for a few years. Good news is pretty much anyone can service it, bad news is it does kind of affect the value I see here. Seems to be a solid well made piece, but I’m on the fence. I like the lume on all the register hands, I don’t have a chrono with a gmt, and the movement is probably at least Top grade. I don’t like the 24 hour ring and the day/night indicator. Lopsided and assymetrical. Wish it had an inner rotating bezel controlled by one of the chrono pushers or at 10 o’clock. Thoughts?

Wow, that twinfly is something special alright, how much was that drop? Is it all you expected it to be? I can see why you're perfectly satisfied, for sure!

Glen8Yes I like so much that ⌚ it's drop was $2,900.00 😆👍 This particular drop went live maybe a little bit after the twinfly, hopefully the twinfly will drop again 🔜🤞

Could someone please explain why the outer 24hr track markings are shaded darker from 0700 to 1900 hrs, and the other half lighter? What's the significance?

No worries. It’s a bit odd from an aesthetic standpoint as it isn’t symmetrical nor is that an inner bezel that you can rotate. Sometimes it’s those tiny details that can make you pause on a purchase.

WatchyoutalkingaboutI think a little asymetry is nice and works here very well. It's a common feature of Montblanc GMT's actually

Same as Joel-d below, this does appear to be the best gray market price available.
