Montblanc’s TimeWalker Collection is inspired by the golden era of vintage racing, when precision made the difference between victory and defeat. Designed with this level of performance in mind, the Urban Speed chronograph watch boasts a large central seconds counter hand, a 30-minute counter subdial at 12 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter subdial at 6 Read More
Nice looker but Mont Blanc can't hold their MRSP so the price reduction is much better than it looks. I got this movement in a Bulova Accu-Swiss chrono a year ago for $350.
You proved my point.
I don't think Montblanc discounted is expensive. They use Sellita movements but in several of their pieces they add complications that their Minerva workshop create and produce. This is not different from what haut horology maisons like Patek do, as more or less every maison have started with a Valjoux 7750 and modified it with in-house complications at some point or another in the past 50 years. The recent Dual Date is an example a Montblanc Minerva created complication on top of a SW200/ETA2824, and so is the recent Geosphere that they recently released. I believe they're excellent timepieces and worth the discounted prices.
They are. But the other "most popular" Gray market sellers usually offers better warranty than Massdrop... And ship right now not in 3 weeks.
Just saying, it's not a huge markdown versus regular price around.
BlacksunnThank you so much for sharing. I'll post a review once I get the twinfly so future buyers can be certain what are ge getting with the watch. I hope you're really enjoying your watch! 😊
Holy moly. Getting breitling and montblanc on massdrop is huge. I'd imagine these drops were similar to what grey sellers have been doing. However, just think...we could see Massdrop partnering with brands to make re-releases of discontinued models. Anyone keen for a GoldenEye Bond Quartz Seamaster? ;)
