MSI GT Series GT73VR Titan Gaming Laptop

I was lucky to get a 15.6" laptop for 900 USD with Similar specs except the CPU being a 7700HQ, GPU being a 1070 Max Q, 250GB SSD nVMe M.2 Samsung 960 instead of a slow slow slow Hard Drive!!! Got from ebay because of a failing keyboard but as a desktop replacement it's good for me.

I have been traveling for my job 50% of the time the last 6 years. I own a Sager mobile workstation around 8.5 lbs. In two years of flying with it (2 trips a month, 4 interactions at the airport total each month 48 yearly x2 years, 96 times flown. A handful of times TSA would pull it aside, wipe it down and what not, ~5 minute hassle. not every TSA agent, even at the same airport exactly follows the same standard. i should add that I leave it at home now and use much lighter ultrabooks. Way more convenient and I remote the workstation for heavy lifting

Good to know. This laptop appears. after watching a YouTube video on it, does appear to be easily upgradeable without removing the motherboard, though any NVMe SSDs must be removed to get to the hard drive, if there is one. I was researching a couple models of MSI 15.6 laptops that were not so easy to upgrade, however, because the motherboard actually had to be removed for any upgrade. I do like MSI as a brand, and have used their GTX video cards for some time now. I was taken aback by the motherboard/upgrade issue with some of their laptops. Nice to know that this one is not one to worry about.
