Yeahhhhh I'm not jumping through all that just for a mic. Buying all that stuff would equal the cost of a yeti.

sokolskeThat Cloudlifter preamp is AWESOME! I use it on my Cascade Fat Head II and Victor Ribbons as well as an SM58 in conjunction with my Roland OctaCapture. It really sends the much needed extra gain to the ribbons by allowing the use of phantom power through it to the ribbon as the Cloudlifter is passive. I have the single and double unit allowing me to run 3 ribbons or 2 ribbons and an SM58 this way with the extra input gain.
