This bag is almost perfect. There are only a couple issues I have with it: the lack of a hydration port means that the hose has to come out the middle of the zippers, which shortens the effective hose length considerably; and the lack of a hydration strap means that the bladder collapses to the bottom of the bag, which makes it slosh around more and be less balanced; the laptop pocket is not suspended, which makes it a little scary to carry a laptop that is not in a sleeve; no option for compression straps means that smaller loads flop around a bit.
Everything else about this bag is absolutely fantastic. It is durable, comfortable to wear for hours, and offers great organization. As an avid mountain biker and hiker, there are very few bags I would choose over this one.
Solid bag. I use it for work and it fits all I need. looks great and feels great when I'm riding with it on my bike. I have the MR 3DAP which was just a little too big for work, but this one is perfect. Great build, awesome zippers. But of course, anything from MR is quality.
Good, comfortable bag. Tri-zip opening is the star of the show here. There’s a quick access pocket in the “lid”, and a slip pocket for a laptop — though not really much protection for same — and not a lot of organization otherwise. Which is great or not...
I've had MR bags before and they are good quality bags despite the crazy prices so when I saw this bag, I bought it. However, 21L is bigger than this bag, unless they mistakening marked an 18L as a 21L but this thing is SMALL! Otherwise, typical MR stuff.
Amazing piece of travel gear, I love it! It's not the most lightweight backpack, but it's sturdiness compensates for that. I got the 21L which is big enough for a few days off travel.
