SpiralGuyBarring any information that Namisu may provide to the contrary I can tell you that the Goulet-branded nibs are Jowo and the nib units that are sold with this pen is Bock. You can shoehorn a Jowo nib into a Bock feed assembly but its rarely a good fit and will require some adjustments and probably heat-setting the feed to the nib...and even then it still may not write well (inner geometry of the Jowo nib was not made to fit with the outer geometry of the Bock feed). Goulet does, however, now carry replacement Bock nib units ever since they started selling the Karas Kustoms Ink fountain pen (which takes a Bock nib unit) so you can buy the whole Bock nib unit from them now in varying sizes. I live just four hours from Goulet so it makes more sense for me to buy replacement nib units from them.
I've played around with the Goulet nibs in my Bock feed assemblies and have gotten a few to work, but not as well as a nib and feed that were made to go together....is good experience, though, screwing around with it to understand how these things work, and the Goulet nibs are somewhat cheap so its not breaking the bank too bad if you screw one up. I do like the look of the black nibs they started selling so I might give it a go again as that would look BA with a black Namisu Orion.
