It does the job
Glad I picked up this attachment, it's helped me through some flights! Only things to note though, this isn't too great for tall people since it relies on a certain leverage of the seat tray. Also, obviously can't use this while your tray is down, so if you want to eat while playing/watching something, you're outta luck there.

But doesn't mount perfectly on some of my flights. Didn't stop me from getting creative though, held my Huawei MediaPad M3 just fine.

Neat little item that always travels with me.
when I pull this out on trips, people are often curious about it. I put the included metal plate on the back of my iPad and set up shop either in my airplane or coach bus seat. I never worried if the my phone or iPad was going to fall off.
the only issue I had is how well the stand stick in between the seat and the stand. With the iPad, you have to make sure the locking ring is properly tightened and at an appropriate angle so it sits straight forward. It’s the only real issue that I’ve had with it. The range of the ball and socket joint could be wider to take into account heavier objects. Also, all tray tables are not built the same, so it may not work in all situations as well.
