GraeMagruderWhew good one. I don’t know what’s sadder, your original comment or the fact that the only reply you can manage to come up with is to call someone stupid.

Pretty sure that none of these could be 100% Gold, Silver, or Nickel and still be magnets.... Please fix the description.

BrokenCogThose are terrible quality, even lower than Buckyballs. You can tell just by looking at the picture that every sphere is a different shape and size with a huge tolerance (None of the magnets in that picture actually sit in a line). They also state you will get a "Random shipment of colors", whatever that means.
You'd be better off getting these if you want a cheap set of magnets, although the quality is on par with those of Buckyballs, something which i don't understand as Zen Magnets made their reputation on displaying how bad Buckyballs are.
BrokenCogPlease be aware that the magnets you linked for comparison are 3mm, not 5mm. In terms of volume, 3mm magnets are 22% as as much magnet as a 5mm magnet is. It would take the material of *Five* 3mm magnets, to create *One* 5mm magnet.

HoldThisPancake@HoldThisPancake These were slightly superior in tolerance & finish to Buckyballs back when Buckyballs existed. They are supposedly the same size, and should mix without problems if you wanted to combine sets.
Personally I prefer Zen Magnets, but Neoballs are a close second - and your best option if you want colors.
@AABCDS One magnet per child is actually 100% safe. So is two magnets ingested at the same time. The problem occurs if two magnets were ingested at slightly different times, eventually sticking together across the walls of the intestines. The attractive force can rupture the walls, which is a serious issue.
Then again, a lot of items have similar safety concerns (BB guns, etc) and are fine so long as they are labeled. Buckyballs were, and well. The CPSC was entirely out of line.

Please do not buy these if you have small babies and children. Not only choking hazard but also hazardous if swallowed. Saw a report on a baby who swallowed and shredded her internal organs due to strong magnets whipping around internally.

ImaMoFoThiefThis is the correct way to place orders with multiple colors as of now on Massdrop. Place 2 separate orders and choose the different colors, then email support@massdrop.com and they will merge the orders so they ship together and you only get charged once. I know Massdrop is really busy right now with a few massive drops (one is currently over 1700 items) so I bet their hands are full.
