The point of this site is to get great deals on products. Four percent? Even if I was in the market for this camera I wouldn't buy it here. I won't continue to support Massdrop if they keep putting up items that I can get on Amazon for a similar price. It's not worth the few bucks in savings if I have to wait a month to get the item. Inevitably if you can't provide the service that makes you exist, you won't exist much longer.
Ryguy456OOrdinarily I'd agree with you, except in this case Nikon (and Canon, too, to a lesser degree) hold great sway over retail pricing for their products. If you look you'll find it VERY hard to find this camera (or any new Nikon DSLR camera) at anything better than a few cents cheaper than list price.
So, yes, it's only 4%, but that's 4% better than you'll find anywhere else.
AndrewOSure, but then maybe this isn't the kind of deal for Massdrop. I picked on this because of its obviously low discount, but this has been an issue throughout the site. Most deals aren't worth the two dollars in savings when Amazon can get the same item to me the same day. This item is a good and bad example depending on how you look at it I suppose.
While I'm not in the market for a D7500, this seems like a surprisingly good deal. Body was just released last month, so even 4%-off on a USA-spec model is not at all bad. I can't find any better prices elsewhere, either, after a very quick search (I might be wrong). So if you're looking for a D7500 and don't want to wait 6-12 months for lower prices, this seems like a great deal.
