Adding/Including Memories
I lost my dad last year (2023) and have been finding ways to include keepsakes/memories in my workstation. I've dabbled here and there with doing small woodworking projects and attempted a wrist rest from a piece of oak I picked up with him from my great uncles wood shop. I milled it to fit a 60% keyboard as I hadn't decided what keyboard I would be using it on and thought that's where most of my wrist would be in contact even typing on a full keyboard. I gave it a torched/burn appearance as I really was lost in what to do. I found an old shell casing from going hunting with my dad in my hunting pack and decided to imbed it into the end of the wrist rest so it would just have a little difference and a small story behind it as well. I have other things around my workstation from family and friends, but it just feels a little more special having worked on it and adding something small that has a memory for me to it. The clicks are good including the side buttons - the left click and right click are Omrons. The cable is a normal rubber cable - little to no drag which is why we didn't go with braided, so it should be good for CS:GO. I have a Logitech G303 and the braided cable bothers me sometime when I play CS:GO and DOTA 2 - from that experience is the main reason why I chose not to have the cable braided. The click latency is good, responsive and low enough for CS:GO from my own personal test methods. However I believe some reviewers will use different test methods and may get different results. I've been playing Counter-strike since 1999 and have over 5000 hours in DOTA2 - both games require good response and low latency in order to be competitive. The reason why we went with the 3360 sensor as our first gaming mouse is because there is finally a sensor that meets our specifications, validation and gaming requirements - I tested many other sensors that did not past our validation.
P.S. My friend is planning to purchase this mouse and he would love to play Dota with you one day :)
It's just an early promotion for the people who really want it from OCN.
Yes - I'll play DOTA with your friend.. I mainly prefer playing as support, but can play other hero roles if needed.
