Oak Street Bootmakers was founded by George Vlagos, who fell in love with shoemaking while apprenticing at his father’s shoe repair shop. These days, George strives to preserve the heritage of the craft through a combination of thoughtful design and careful attention to detail. All Oak Street shoes are made in the USA by shoemakers with decades of experience, and the camp mocs are no exception. As durable as they are comfortable—and darn good-looking, too—they’re built on the 555 last with a Horween Chromexcel leather upper and a hand-stitched moccasin construction. Rawhide laces complete the aesthetic, while replaceable outsoles ensure a lifetime of wear. Each pair is made to order.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of size, from US men’s 7 to 13. If you plan on wearing normal or no socks, consider sizing down a half size from your usual dress size. If you plan on wearing thick socks, stick with your true size. Oak Street recommends a snug fit, as the shoes will stretch to conform to your feet.
