Product Description
The Orient Bambino Small Seconds watch marks many firsts for the Bambino collection. For starters, instead of a long seconds hand, it features a small seconds display at the 6 o’clock position Read More
Love this watch. I put mine on a Speidel Twist-O-Flex. This particular version of the Twist-O-Flex fits the 21 mm lugs very nicely and adds to the vintage look (in my opinion). I ordered the Vulture Premium Badalassi Carlo strap from Drop and look forward to trying it out (ships in August).
Now this is nice , very pleased with it i remember a little while ago when this small seconds edition came out some of these models were almost selling for $250 plus ,I'm glad i waited .Reminds me of a bell & ross vintage model .Wears a lot smaller than the picture .
ironman2092I was on the fence too long and had to passed on this one. However, I will say the champaign dial is pretty clean. I appreciate the subtlety of of this variant opposed to the black or white face. Great choice and thanks for the pick! ✌️🏾
NiceGatorMy only concern is that the warranty here isn't manufacturer's. Where are they going to get the parts for the watch if they need it? Orient USA won't even sell me a replacement dial let alone a balance wheel.....
$10 dived by 25 days is only about forty-cents a day.
In other words, if I bought this watch from Amazon, where it's presently selling for ten-bucks more than on this drop, I could conceivably be wearing it TOMORROW (thanks to Amazon's new 1-day shipping) vs waiting the twenty-five plus days it's going to take MASSDrop to conclude the drop and ship it to me.
So, is it worth the extra forty-cents per day? I'd say YES. Of course that's easy for me to say, because...I'm not into dress watches and I'm not an Orient-guy either! I'm just tossing out the proposition to those of you who are. I know a lot of you are into this watch (they're great-looking and very reliable) so I'm curious to hear what you're going to decide; here or there?
Now, if this drop was for a Seiko SRPC44, and Amazon's price was ten-bucks more, than MD's with next-day shipping, I damn sure wouldn't wait a minute longer to save the difference. On the other hand, it turned out that damn SRPC44 is nearly $30 more on Amazon this morning, than it was on eBay! So you know what I did? I ordered it on eBay and now I'm going to have to wait for it!
Goes to show ya--the value of instant gratification is a fairly relative thing!
RayFGuess what: I ordered one now, on this drop (Champagne variant of course). The small seconds is not for sale here in Europe and Amazon is now more pricey... Beggars can't be choosers...
While I don't wear much gold, I was in the market for an inexpensive expensive looking gold dress watch. (That made sense, right? LOL) I purchased the Small Second Bambino in goldtone with white dial and, by the way, paid substantially more than Drop's price. The watch has proven to be a value laden quality timepiece, running flawlessly and keeping COSC time. I feel very confident recommending this purchase to anyone in the market for a reliable, great looking and quality watch punching far above its' price.
