For those on the fence - don't be. This watch is worth every penny. I own two of these - a ver. 1 (gold case, hands and indexes with cream dial) and a ver. 3 (silver case, hands and indexes with blue dial). Both are excellent time keepers but I prefer the ver. 3 because its movement is hand-winding and hacking (the ver. 1 movement is not).

emtheredIt having a mineral crystal instead of sapphire knocked me off the fence real quick. I won't buy a watch with a mineral crystal.

ItsrainingA sapphire crystal on this watch would easily double the price because this is a high 'domed' crystal. 'Domed' sapphire crystals are very expensive to produce. I've worn both my bambinos a lot for about two years without managing scratch the crystals.

emtheredThe watch is only 135 which is nothing so doubling it would still keep it under 300 and affordable by most people in the world. A much better dress watch massdrop should get is Nomos, Frederique Constant, or Mido to name a few. And those are still affordable by most and much better dress watches.

ItsrainingSame here I was waiting for MIdo Baroncelli III Automatic and Hamilton Intra-matic Auto. Just hope Massdrop can keep the prices low.
