Like a vintage astronomical clock, the Orient Executive Sun & Moon V3 has every bit of old-world charm you could ever ask for. The main attraction is the sun and moon complication between 5 and 6 o’clock Read More
WatchyoutalkingaboutI am not surprised it's OOS - it's almost half of what Drop is selling this watch for and was the cheapest price on the web. I was in stock until recently today. You had to act fast to get one.
I bought one for $122.
The dial on this watch isn't busy enough for me.
At the very least, it needs a power reserve sub dial.
Ideally it should also have an altimeter and a compass (a Stock-Ticker would also be nice).

Decent price for the non plated models. I managed to grab mine a year ago off amazon for $200, so take that for what it’s worth. I have no issues wearing this at work under a sleeve, so I doubt most would have a problem with thickness or size.
I comment on almost every orient thread about their value and their accuracy, and to me they really are a watch guy’s watch brand.
The watch has multiple points of depth to its dial. The subregisters, date window, and applications are all on different levels of depth and work quite well together. The domed sapphire crystal gives a nice bit of distortion and adds even more depth.
This is one of the few watches I own that truly looks more expensive that it is. If you prefer Arabic numerals, go with the version 4, but I think the Roman numerals really fit well. Great watch, great company, highly recommend. Mine runs well within Chronometer spec at +2-3spd. Happy thanksgiving to my fellow yanks.
Beautiful watch, ugly price. I am always tempted when I see it for a good price but it's 42mm and thick so not exactly good for a dress watch and I am not sure this could be considered anything else.
