kingpingCan't believed I missed the crystal although, judging by the look they're aiming for, maybe acrylic would have been better?

Everything about this watch, from the tachymeter for a non chronograph, the movement, the mineral crystal and especially the price are just....
wait for it.....
completely out of order.
Tip your waitress, try the veal. I’ll see myself out.
Yeah, the distressedness does leave something to be desired. She has a whole section on her website of distressed straps that are more "stone washed." Her "hand dyed" straps tend to look more distressed than her distressed straps:
https://www.martuleather.com/store/c21/Hand_dyed_straps.html
She also does more custom stuff. On this page the hardware on the "Hand Vintage & Copper Pre V" is definitely distressed, and the "Limited Edition Vintage Captain America" shows more deliberate distressing than in her normal distressed straps:

If you email her and let her know what you're thinking of, she may be able to do it. She's relatively inexpensive so even a custom strap would be affordable.
CloacaThanks again for the really solid leads. I am starting my project using Martu straps. First piece is a 1998 Blancpain Air Command chrono. And the next will be a Bell&Ross WW1 Bombardier Regulateur. The Air Command is stylistically a Fifty Fathoms chrono with a semi-chunky bezel so it'll be fun to pimp it out a little. The B&R—if not familiar—is kind of a love-it-or-hate-it bombardier / bomb timer homage piece so a bit of an odd duck 49mm grey/brown PVD with scalloped bezel and left-side onion-style winding stem. The lugs are narrower but I think it needs something a little over-the-top-flight-crew looking or even cyber-punkish with bronze or copper. I'll send a photo along once I've got'er figured out. All the best!
My friend bought one of these watches a year ago and its less than stellar. The quality is subpar and of the same quality of Automatic Miyota sold on here for $199 and less.
They want almost 3X what the watch should be sold for. They think because they put Italy on it the price is justified. Big YAWN to this crap timepiece.
These got really popular because of Watchgang. Members there pay out of their anus's for some of OOO watches. The fact is they are ,at best, $175 mediocre watches with mediocre movements with a fad design. The stems easily break and the bezels fall off. But they have made their tiny niche in the Microbrand narket.
