In 2019 I relocated to Australia for work. Last week I visited the panzera workshop over in Pyrmont Sydney. I already own several of their watches so I was keen to visit. Was really impressed, they were kind enough to spend almost an hour giving me a tour and chat about watches which was very generous. They explained how the parts are made in Germany shipped to Australia and then showed me assembly of a watch with a Miyota movement. Was quite interesting to see the process. Really impressed to see that panzera watches are made in Australia. When is Drop going to sell some of their watches again? Always get a good deal on here. Would be great if you could do the new pro diver aquamarine which looks very cool..

I don't mind these watches; they all look pretty nice. But I object to the size of the crown--it intimidates me and threatens my manhood!

This watch is confused: 1) FLIEGER - means Pilot, - which is airforce 2) Panzera - is derived from Pazer (tanks) - which is ground troops, 3) It has anker on the crown - which is navy. Why all these symbols mixed in a same watch?

I currently own two Panzera watches, the substantial Aquamarine 45, which has sapphire crystal, screw crown and 200 m wr. brilliant quality and runs the same movement as this watch,it has received some great reviews, it is assembled/made in Sydney as all but two of their watches. I looked at this Flieger 47, but thought with the large crown it would just be too big for me; and yes I did see more value with sapphire crystal and screw down crown. So I eventually purchased the Flightmaster Pilot style watch very similar to this one but 45mm with reasonable size screw down crown with sapphire crystal a Sellita SW200 movement and was one of their all Swiss made and manufactured in Switzerland watches and then sent to Australia and other Panzera retailers, including the UK where I believe these Flieger 47s' are sourced from. The other Swiss made watch is the Breuer 43 which runs a 7750 chrono automatic movement. The Flightmaster is a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for; in no way would I suggest this watch is badly made ,quite the opposite the factory in Sydney has very stringent quality controls; possibly in the early years (Panzera has been in operation since 2009) there may have been some quality issues. Every time I have come across a reported issue it seems they just send out a complete replacement watch. So at $229 this is a reasonable price for a well made watch. This is a company that only currently makes/sells 5 models of watches and some associated accessories, ie. watch rolls, straps. If concerned about their authenticity visit the Panzera site.

I’ve owned a few Panzera watches, 4 of which had minor but real quality issues (scratches on the inside of the ‘crystal’, dust particles on the inside of the dial, faulty straps and misaligned markers) I would not buy another. Panzera seems like a marketing company that sells watches, rather than having a genuine passion for watches. Also, ‘Engineered in Australia’ does not mean ‘made in Australia’

I wouldn't submerge it in water as proposed in the ad. 5ATM is for showering or washing your hands, not swimming....

This company is too cheap to use proper crystal and proper movement but their target audience probably doesn't care. This watch looks like a wall clock on an average wrist. Regarding the "propitiatory S-Lex Crystal" you can polish the turd as much as you want but it is still just turd.

Is that a F47 on your wrist, or are you just glad to see me?
A Flieger that says "Flieger" on it. That certainly makes it authentic.
