Pretty.
ngl I just want the pen, make it happen MD!
Plenty of watches out there for [those of you with 6" wrists]. They need more of these plus 45mm watches.

If you're wearing a 47mm watch, [you must have a big wrist]...

[Thanks. It is big and manly]

Anyone remember how much this was?
Yes Panzera quality is top shelf. bullet proof jap auto movement with day and date. if you like the design and looking for a Flieger Watch that feels a lot more expensive than it is you will be more than satisfied imo
these guys make great quality timepieces. I have one also and like the others have said very solid look and feel you would expect at a much higher price point. Highly recommended this piece or the aqua model.
The last automatic watch I purchased from Massdrop only worked for three weeks before the stem stopped winding the watch movement. I reached out to Massdrop multiple times with no response. I can't recommend buying from them.

Maybe try and contact the brand directly? I contacted Panzera in Australia for a second strap and they got back to me within a day and I got the strap 3 days later.

One you purchased from Massdrop?
I don't understand the value proposition in this watch. The crystal is mineral (not sapphire as described). The movement is the base miyota, not even a 9000 series. There are other brands out there offering flieger watches with the same mineral crystal and base miyota, such as the Harding Jetstream auto I got on this very site, for a hundred bucks. Am I paying for the pen?
Bummer about the crystal being plastic - this is only draw back to my Seiko 007. The crystal just gets scratched so easily. While my 5 year old Fortis Cosmonaut daily driver is still scratch free. The sapphire crystal is now a deciding factor for purchase. It is so worth it!! Pretty sexy watch, though.

Ssshhh! Don't say it too loud! All of the black dials were gone in minutes, last offering.

This website is a joke. Total ripoff. Find deals elsewhere!
I have bought the panzera breuer dress watch and flieger pilot watch and very happy with both. The quality on both pieces is superb and almost 12 months in they are amongst my most accurate and most noticed mechanical watches. The size of the flieger watch at 47mm is true to the original flieger specification of between 47-55mm.
Yet again, the description is WRONG! No sapphire here, Panzera's own website claims to use a S-LEX Crystal (fancy for mineral crystal). I'm sorry but Massdrop needs to get there shit together. This is a big mistake and a huge deciding factor in purchasing a watch.
Does this watch have any sort of lume function? How well can you see the dial at night without an external light source?
RobRoberts
yeah man hands and indexes are all lumed
RobRoberts
Yes as Ferrari77 stated. But the lume is nothing to write home about. I purchased the Panzera Aquamarine Watch, love the styling quality. They do make a solid watch, I wear it quite often.
Maybe by the 2027 model they'll have come back down to earth with a 42mm or even a nice 40mm size that's wearable by someone without a 12" wrist.
It's a cool looking watch, but I lost interest with no hacking and a mineral crystal!
47mm!! Yay, I can hang it on the wall of our dining room. We do need a wall clock there :-)
I have the earlier Panzera Flieger model, but I do like the second hand detail on this one.
I got this watch yesterday, It's so nice looking solid feel. quite good for daily use.
I have committed may i know when i will be charged ? any confirmaiton will be send?
Have one of these from another drop, quality is very good...
I have a small wrist but it wears very nice. It is big but looks smaller in real life than the specs would indicate. Hard for me now to wear a small watch again. Gets lots of great comments wherever I go.
It is a beautiful watch and was gonna pull the trigger but 47 is huge.
I bought this watch (The Arado Spirit) on the last drop and I LOVE this watch. It is fantastic quality and wears like a much more expensive watch. I had an issue with the crown becoming unscrewed and contacted Panzera directly. They were very responsive and helpful despite being across the world. LOVE IT.
Are Panzera made in Australia?
CheapDeals
Yes and they are in Sydney Australia.
Prefer the nav-b design (like in this drop) over nav-a. IWC would be my choice with authenticity tho

Iwc is the one that produced the less Fliegers out of the original brands as it came in the game late towards the end of the war, and they produced only b dials. For authenticity, better to go stowa or Laco in my opinion
Why does everyone want a watch the size of a wall clock these days?

The Steinhart Nav B Uhr is an awesome piece. I have the 44mm Type A automatic and it is one of my favorites. For Type B dials Inalso have the Geckota version in 44mm And the Orient Pilot 42mm; both of those are interpretations of a Type B dial and both have their inherent charms.

Fliegers are large as a rule . Laco makes a 55 mm.
Nice design, like day and date function. Diamond crown is authentic to flieger design I think?
Better Fliegers out there can be had at this price point. The Steinhart Nav B-Uhr comes to mind....

Not sure, that's the only place I know of. I can get the one I want for about 427 USD shipped.
Gnomon Watches is the only authorized Steinhart dealer I know of. They have a web store too. I bought my Nav B Type A auto and the Ocean 1 500 Titanium direct from Steinhart though.
I can't get into the diamond crown. Tissel has changed from a hammer crown to a diamond crown on their (more authentic than these) fliegers, and I hate it.
would it be inappropriate for me to invite you all to join us at the Pilot Watch Social Club? https://www.facebook.com/BigPilot1904/

I love the watch, wish it were 42mm instead of 47mm, as such chicken-wrist says no-no!

The original "flieger" watches were actually considerably larger, 55mm if memory is serving me correctly, so as to be easily and quickly read. Maybe they didn't look out of place when worn over the cuff of a flight jacket, but can be gargantuan on the average unclothed wrist. That said, a quick web search will turn up a number of companies producing flieger-style watches in 42mm as well as larger and smaller sizes, from under $100 USD to several thousand dollars. Cheers!

Yup, the original ones which were, as you mention, regularly worn on top of a flight jacket. Am trying to imagine a 55mm dial on my 6.7 inches wrist... I think people will be entitled to call it a "pocketable wrist-table" rather than a watch! :p
