Dang.. too late to join the Streseman drop...
I missed out on the Streseman. I'm only interested in the M805 Streseman.
One of the best looking M800 derivations--wish I had this one instead of Blue one I have. Anyone who wants to trade this pretty cool one for my kind-of-regular one, let me know!
This pen is my daily fountain pen writer. Great Pelikan . My favorite of their designs. Highly recommended.
There’s one currently for sale on Reddit too! Cheaper price and the nib won’t come misaligned because it was already tested and works. Look on pen_swap.

The Pelikan 800’s are perhaps my favorite pens. In my experience they don‘t dry out, even if left for weeks. I can take mine on a plane without mishap. And the balance and weight is extraordinary. The 800‘s have a brass piston that adds heft and is smoother than the 600, which I believe is plastic. 18k nibs have a different feel than either steel or 14k. I know that some have done a nib exchange by mail with the US distributor if needed - used to be Chartpak, not sure if that is still true, or if they require proof of purchase from an authorized retailer.....
Great pen - not a great price. Cult Pens sells for UK£250 ex-VAT (i.e. shipped outside the UK), UK£10 tracked shipping - just under US$350 and you would have it within a week. And they happily do nib returns which sad to say for a modern Pelikan you would possibly need. The EF M805 that I bought wrote more like a M!
A bit out of my price range. 😕
This is a really good pen. I’m tempted - and two years ago I would snatch this in a second - but decided the value of a pen in this price range just isn’t worth it. Don’t get me wrong - I love my two sailor kops and my pelikan m600, but I also have been finding myself using them less than steel nibs which also perform similarly well without the additional worry. Just my experience after being on the fountain pen journey for 5 Years - I’m sure many disagree and that’s fine.

However, if someone wanted one premium pen for special occasions, this is definitely a good pick. Maybe the best value in the premium pen category, as I honestly prefer the feel to pelikan nibs to the ultra smooth sailor kops.
Is this a good price for this pen?

I'll keep them in mind. I used LCDC because of the SBRE Brown 10% off discount. :-)
I purchased this pen about a month ago and it is a beautiful pen, well worth the money
