First introduced in the 1960s, this model was a folding adaptation of the famous 649 shades—and perhaps the first collapsible pair of glasses ever. Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, these sunnies were made famous by Steve McQueen, who wore them in The Thomas Crown Affair. Featuring Persol’s iconic aviator shape and keyhole bridge, they’re still among the most popular, most fashionable sunglasses today. On this pair, the handmade tortoise acetate frame is complete with signature Arrow hinges and Meflecto flexible temples.
