I got the zipka. I love this light. I bought 2 more so I can keep one in my bag, one in my glove box, and a third in my toolbox. Works great, easy to sue, and mostly it's super compact. I wouldn't recommend it for active use. But it's great in a pinch both to use as a simple flashlight and to do stuff around the house or garage. Just really convenient to have around.

Great ultralight headlamp. I think it is a tremendous improvement over the previous model, as it does not have the auto retracting string headband that I always thought was needlessly complex. Light output is adequate and of coarse it's very light. I'd buy it again for trips when I don't expect to be doing much night hiking.

i have the zipka. the primary reason i bought it was because it's light. it's lighter than my thrunite TH20 for sure. the retractable cord is a lot more comfortable than i would have thought. given its thinness, i would expect the pressure that it exerts on my head to lead to discomfort in a short time. surprisingly it does not. i can't speak for the longevity of the cord or the spring that retracts it yet. it is also very compact especially with its innovative retractable cord system. i keep it in my backpack for "just in case".
the spacing for the brightness just seems ludicrous. it goes from 5 lumens to 100 and the 200. 5, 50, 200 would be a far more meaningful spacing. 100 is too bright for up close work. 5 is usually too low for detailed work.
my other gripe with it is that it does not have constant output regulation. this is a bit annoying because this day and age, pretty much any reputable torchlight has constant output regulation (usually the only exception is for the brightest mode).
if they would make it for 2AAA or 2AA or even 1AA i would have liked it a lot more because most of the batteries that users buy come in even numbers. even numbers are easier for charging as well.
if you want a compact headlamp, this is it. if you want a headlamp with a more advanced UI, that's more comfortable to wear, and made of solid aluminium, i would highly recommend thrunite TH20. it runs on AA or 14500 and goes from 0.1 to 500 lumens with a lot of flexibility in between.

I only bought a new one, because my old one disappeared. It turned up as soon as my new one arrived. These lamps are very hardy, small and convenient. I have had my old one for many years, and I keep it handy, especially during winter.

Took the Tikka rafting then hiking. The batteries lasted for the month, and it was just as bright at the end of the month. A great little camping headlamp.
