I got these a few months ago from Amazon and had to return them two times because of quality control issues. My current pair still has some cosmetic defects like the aluminum rings glue not holding ever so slightly, the paint on the earcup ring where the mounting point is is rubbing off. The pads have glue on them (again) and the right earcup makes this audible tapping when I move the earcup. I kept them because I was tired of dealing with sending them back and getting a new pair.
With all that being said. I don't mean to discourage buyers. These cans seriously pack a punch for an open headphone. Bass extension is nuts and the overall frequency spectrum makes them sound like they can compete 1 to 1 with the HD650 (subjective opinion of course). Hopefully Massdrop's aren't low QC units.
