Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. For the phones, this is my first pair of open back headphone, I does bring me a different sounding experience, and I appreciate the quality of its sound and built so far. There is one little downside to me (experience from others may varied depends on individual's head size) is that I find it a little bit too loose while sitting on my head. They tend to move away from the best fit position when I move my head too hard. I wish the clam force of these cans could be slightly tighten. Anyway, this is not a big deal, I suppose I would get used to it. Last but not least, these cans do leak sounds, I meant a lot! However, I was expecting this before I decided to give a fully open back headphone a go! If sound leakage does concern u, in a serious manner, then u gotta think twice. Otherwise, I bet this would be good buy for ya!
