Does anyone know if the 503 supports EARC?

hebrewbaconearc arrives with HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0 just doesn't have the bandwidth for it. While the description doesn't say, I'm sure these units are all HDMI 2.0, although it's possible the Pioneer might issue a firmware update to add earc later on.

AnzialThanks for the info! I am really interested in this receiver as I want to expand my current configuration (5.1) to a 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos and have been holding out as I know earc/2.1 is around the corner. I know the new Yamaha RX-Axx80 receivers will have this functionality with a firmware update.

AnzialBased on this statement from their site" all HDMI terminals support 4K (60p/4:4:4/24-bit)*, Wide Color Gamut (BT.2020), and HDCP 2.2, so you will have no problem when upgrading to new devices, and can also enjoy premium content such as 4K videos with digital copy protection. " I would assume that the rears are 2.1 and the front is 2.0 (front is not fully compatible based on their site statement)

Sgt_ShaneVThis applies to HDMI 2.0 as well, so based on this alone I wouldn't assume they've implemented HDMI 2.1.
