Anyone know if this will be back to purchase ? I think they cancelled it last time because it was not available yet . It does not ship from Pioneer till Jan 19th 2019 .
What's the voltage of this player shipped out? On the picture, it shows 120v. Yet on item description, it shows Power requirements: AC 110–240 V, 50/60 Hz (Asia)/AC 120V, 60Hz (Taiwan). So which one is it?
I missed out on the Oppo 203. Would like to get this.

I'm not sure how's that can be intepreted, ie. can the same unit be plugged in either 110v or 240v? Or we specify, like a number of other drops for electronics, either 110v or 240v. Appreciate if Massdrop (or anyone) can clarify please? Thank you.
Universal joke is what this is.
It doesn't play more stuff than a player for half the cost. And even at this horrible price point, it is still region locked and without 5.1 or 7.1 audio support. Piece of over-engineering sh*t
This certainly puts it in the right price point. I'm quite happy with my OPPO, but have a Pioneer Elite 4k receiver, and have been waiting for them to release a UHD universal player. Before finally upgrading, my system was a good Elite receiver and DVD player. I wouldn't mind using a player and receiver from the same company again. They seem to work well together (I did typically use the iLink connection, or whatever Pioneer called that). The Sony UHD player has been buggy. But, the OPPO has been great. In some ways, I wish I had waited, and honestly, if I had the spare $$, I'd pick this up. I should put all my CDs, SACDs, and DVD-As on a server, but I haven't. Then again, all my discs are still packed up... lol
Anyway, I'm looking forward to some reviews. I hope this isn't the only time it drops at this price. $1100 will put them out of the market for most people. And high-end audiophiles don't give Pioneer Elite much thought anymore.
