Support for Alternative Layouts

The wait is inevitable but without any news, it's hard....
On topic - I really wonder what's taking them so long. This Planck drop seem to have been a disaster. I actually missed it and am currently waiting for the next one (which according to Jack Humbert back on r/olkb should happen right after the current one has shipped), but I'm starting to think if it isn't better to just order the parts directly from olkb's website... Sure I would miss out on the gunmetal or green case, switches and keycaps as well as a probably a bit better price but I would at least have the things shipped to me within the month, no?
A plank perhaps?
