Do the Matias switches support LEDs?
ericlathropNot like the MX ones do :/ you can place the LEDs under the PCB and point them up through the holes, though!

jackhumbertThat would look cool with a milled acrylic bottom ... any chance of this? =)

random_nameIt would look cool. Someone out there has made a custom acrylic bottom piece that's the same as the steel/brass ones with holes in the right place to use screws with the same standoffs:

jackhumbertAwesome! An all brass Planck.
Next would be a carbon fiber plate. Carbon fiber plate and a milled aluminum bottom would make a light weight Planck. Or a carbon fiber top and bottom plate, that would be a really light weight Planck.

jackhumbertCool! :) Btw, for the MIT layout with matias switches is the 2U space key wobbly without any stabilizer? Thx!

A0.CYup someone has to put an halt to this orange conspiracy! Everyone knows we need more blue!
A0.CA full carbon Planck would look pretty damn amazing... I wonder if it's possible to do a CF plate though. Vacuum forming the bottom wouldn't be too difficult once you got the mold right, but the plate would have to be milled out... I'm gonna talk to a buddy of mine who works pretty extensively with it to see if it would be feasible.
