Just got my kit. Top plate will need some filing for the stabs to fit, although it doesn't look like the switches positions themselves will need filing. Could I get an official confirmation that attempting to DIY fix my DIY kit will not void my ability to get a replacement top plate?

TWD-IndustriesYou're lucky. I'm probably going to need to file all my switch positions. *sigh*

XyverzStill not sure I don't need to do more general filing, since I haven't had time to start populating, I just didn't see the bumps people have been discussing.
I also wanted to clarify that I don't believe this is a new top plate design. I recall seeing the universal plate in the old OLKB store (could be misremebering). I believe the beta tester complaint is for sandblasting the anodized case. The top plate is a fault of QC on what seems to be a different cutting vendor from the last drop
