People still use iPhones?
Why?

RundleSGMy iPhone doesn’t make the interface lag after two weeks of adding just music and pictures, it doesn’t drop the charge by 80% in my pocket over 20 minutes, it doesn’t make me look at my screen for 5 minutes when I want to check something, and my iPhone SE is the last reasonably sized iPhone.

RundleSG1) Design 2) User Interface (don’t care for Android) 3) Ecosystem allows easy transfer of content between devices.
Works for us. Something else might work better for you entirely. And that’s great - Choice. 👍🏼

ZiMugenYou must be excited about this then :D (Apple only begins offering it as an option after they got caught) http://www.wired.co.uk/article/iphone-slow-down-battery-replacement

RundleSGYeah, I’ve heard about that. It kinda sucks especially since I bought my SE about two years after it came out, so my cpu clocks slower without regular battery degradation. But the phone does run nicely, albeit with faster times than the Lumia 920 I parted with. But the device lasts, it’s actually portable, and it has reasonably great features.
And my my battery doesn’t suddenly drain, so I’m kinda glad Apple watches out for that.

ZiMugenBattery issues and lagging are very specific to the device you purchase. Part of the problem with the negative Android experiences is that it gets generalized to all phones.
Example: my OnePlus 6 is anything but slow and the battery life is pretty great on standby

MassDropUser110It happened to each model phone I had, as well as the same-model replacements.

ZiMugen"...as well as the same-model replacements"
Exactly what I am saying. It depends on the specific device you purchase, was that not clear?

MassDropUser110But the problems I’ve had were on multiple models. HTC Incredible 2 and its replacement, Sony XPeria Play and its replacement, Motoro Droid X2 and its replacement, and the Moto X 2014. All of those have performed horribly or started to fail within two weeks, half of them needing an extra kick from my service provider to be able to view sms media messages.
But I see many other parts of society that accept bullsh*t as if it’s the best just because we’ve been tricked to think that the US is amazing in every way. We’re behind, we don’t solve problems, and scientists are leaving the US because of bs like what I’ve experi with Android.
And by irrational slippery slope, Android makes scientists leave the US.

MassDropUser110my current record of a good android device is 0 for 7. Technically 8 if you include Android enulators on a decently spec’d computer.
