What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

FYI: To purchase from gmarket internationally with your credit card, you will need to get authorised, else your order will be cancelled automatically. Here are the steps on how I got authorized, I can't say for sure these are the exact steps since they don't really have the procedures written anywhere. 1. I sent an email to fcard@corp.gmarket.co.kr to request authorisation, with my name, gmarket ID and contact number, I also sent them a photo of my identity card just in case. 2. They replied and requested an authorization code for the order that was recently cancelled for me(because the payment wasn't authorized), from my card/bank company. (Perhaps you can send them the codes in your first email to save time.) 3. So I contacted my bank about this matter, and they replied pretty quickly, they seemed pretty aware of what's going on, so they gave me the codes for all of my failed gmarket transactions. 4. I sent the code back to fcard@corp.gmarket.co.kr , for some reason they responded within minutes.
I'm not too sure what they would request for if you haven't made a failed transaction before, but they will probably let you know after you sent that first email.
Then I tried for about one month to get may payment authorized. Made about 3 tickets, wrote several emails. But they always are sorry and say that they didn't get a request for authorization from me. And the other way round I didn't get an authorization code from them, only support ticket answers.
How can I order, If they are unable to authorize me and often answer with standard text blocks on how to do the authorization procedure??
So that's how I got authorized, hope it helped.
And since I didn't have established that functionality before my order, the transaction didn't provide a 2nd factor authorization code.
So now I should try to order again. I only have to decide if I should take the Hansung CHL8 (no LED, but cheaper). Or the ABKO Hacker K945p (I don't like that clear plastic from what I can see in the pictures)
