Near the dawn of the 20th Century, Landon Clayton King sought durable workwear that functioned on the farm or the hunt while retaining its rugged character. Finding none to his liking, he founded his own company and soon developed Pointer Brand coats, named after his beloved bird dogs. Today, the Pointer Brand Chore Coat offers a piece of Americana with iconic style.
Cut entirely from 100-percent cotton duck fabric, the coat comes with polished brass buttons, button cuffs, and four patch pockets in the front, one of which snaps shut for extra security. As it normally runs a little large, we recommend you size down for a slimmer fit or go true to size for a classic workwear fit. The jacket will also shrink some when washed, up to 7.5 percent horizontally and 2.5 percent vertically. Garment measurements are shown in the chart below.
