I just tried switching clips from my Falcon to my Dogtooth, no go.
I don't have my calipers handy, but the holes in the Dogtooth are closer together by about half the width of the screw, a little less actually.
The description lists the attachment holes as countersunk, yet the photos show round bolts.
Round bolts fail to take advantage of any countersink present in the holes, but the photos don't seem to suggest that the holes are actually countersunk, either.
Clarification, please?
XenoMuseXenoMuse, There is a typo on this drop. The holes are not countersunk. The screws are typical button head style. Apologies for any confusion caused.
Not from MD, but I have a Pops clip for a Kershaw Blackwash Leek. In two years of nearly daily carry the finish has held up. I will probably add them to new acquisitions in most cases.
It doesn't fit into the slot in the scale, it fits over it. The screws that came with the clip were not the correct diameter, the original screws were too long. I have a few bags of screw I got from knifekits and one of them fit perfectly. The Hinderer deep carry clip came with a Hinderer spacer which I am going to trim down to fill the slot under the clip for a more secure fit.
DataI know, just saying... The aftermarket options don't generally go that cheap
The $5 price was a hit they took to save their own reputation. No one is making any titanium clip, milled or bent, and selling them for five bucks
